About our ICD-10 Practice Leader

Michael Magliaro, MBA & MHA, is the National Healthcare Industry Practice Leader for TM Floyd & Company. His 30 years of healthcare and health plan experience includes 10 years in CEO roles of fee-for-service and managed care organizations and 20 years of consulting. He has significant experience in business and clinical information reengineering, information systems selection and implementation (including EMR), program management, and revenue cycle management.

With the passage of HIPAA in 1996, Mike developed one of the first complete compliance programs, focusing on the Privacy and Security Rules. Mike became one of the first consultants to see the short- and long-term impacts of this legislation. He correctly viewed this as the most sweeping legislation of its kind in its affect on the operations of the payers and providers of care.

Building upon this experience, Mike has developed a comprehensive strategy and approach for achieving compliance in the shortest time and with the lowest cost, all while maintaining a competitive advantage. This approach includes our Critical Success Factors.
